Teaching

Matthew has been educating musicians at the collegiate and K-12 level for over a decade. From complete beginners to advanced students, he has taught at colleges, public schools, and private lesson academies, at settings such as New York University, the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins, Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts, and the Park School of Baltimore. He maintains an active studio year round and offers lessons in the following areas.

• Music composition
• Oboe
• Flute
• Saxophone
• Music Theory
• Ear Training

Whether it's preparing for solo festivals such as NYSSMA, high school or college auditions, or picking up/starting a new hobby, all students are welcome!
